A People’s Candidate Forum for 15th District State Rep Appointment

True to form, our State Representative in the 15th House District, John D’Amico, tried his best to cheat the system by retiring early so he can appoint his own successor. The political machine would love nothing more than to hand-pick a representative for this seat, but in a democracy, that power should belong to the people.

Join us on Saturday, November 20 at 1:00-2:30pm for a virtual People’s Candidate Forum!

Register in advance to receive the Zoom link: bit.ly/peoplesforum15

We will be asking the questions that matter most to those of us who care about social justice and progressive values. And you, the constituents who the candidates hope to represent, will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the candidates. A forum by and for the people.

Co-sponsoring organizations (list in formation):

  • 33rd Ward Working Families

  • 39th Ward Neighbors United

  • 50th Ward United Working Families

  • The People’s Lobby

  • United Northwest Side

We are reaching out to known candidates seeking this appointment to invite them to the forum. If you are seeking to fill the vacant position and would like to attend, please complete this questionnaire by Friday, November 19 at 5pm: https://forms.gle/pehZKyMwfsd3SoaE7
